Cannery Brewing of Penticton picked up a couple of medals at the recent Canadian Brewing Awards. The brewery picked up a silver award for it’s flagship Naramata Nut Brown Ale, and a bright shiny gold tap handle for the newly released Squire Scotch Ale.
The 8th annual brewing awards ceremony coincided with Toronto’s inaugral Beer Week (which begs the obvious question, “What took them so long to get around to a Beer Week?”). It’s great to see the hard work by the Cannery team garner some recognition. We raise a pint to you!
